How We Spend Our Day
Activities
Whether we’re exploring numbers, enjoying story time, or sharing during show and tell, each part of our day helps children build important skills in a fun, relaxed way. Math activities encourage problem-solving, puppets spark imagination and communication, and story time builds language and listening skills. These moments may seem small, but together they lay the foundation for confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.
Music
Music is a simple and joyful part of our day. Singing familiar songs and enjoying group sing-alongs helps children feel connected, calm, and confident. It supports language development, memory, and listening skills, all while creating a warm, cheerful atmosphere. Music time is not about performance—it’s about togetherness, comfort, and the joy of learning through song.
Art
Arts and crafts give children a chance to express themselves freely and creatively. Whether it’s coloring, gluing, painting, or creating with simple materials, these hands-on activities help build fine motor skills, patience, and confidence. Most importantly, they allow children to take pride in their work and enjoy the process of making something uniquely their own.
Daily Meal Times
We serve well-balanced, nutritious meals that support healthy growth and development. Typical meals include a variety of options such as juice or fruit, bread and/or cereal, a vegetable, and a serving of meat or a healthy alternative. We focus on offering wholesome foods and limit sweets to just one treat per week. Our goal is to help children develop healthy eating habits from an early age.
